About Us:

Kathy’s Needleworks has moved from California to Oregon. We are now an Oregon based small business owned and operated by Kathy and her husband Dave.

Kathy has been a needlepointer all of her adult life. She has also worked in art galleries, owned an art gallery, served on art museum and alliance boards, and done extensive work in the not-for-profit sector.

Dave has never been a needlepointer! Nor has he ever been involved in the “Art World” in any way (except as an escort for Kathy). However, he has been an operations manager at various levels for several corporations throughout his career.

So, Kathy finds our artists, works with them to select the works of art we’ll offer, and adapts that art for use on needlepoint canvas. Dave does pretty much everything else.

About Our Product:

Except for those that are adaptations of public domain images, all of our canvases are generated under exclusive contract with the named artist and are copyrighted to protect our artists’ intellectual property.

As stated in the item descriptions, our canvases are “Fine Art Giclees”. What does that mean?

Our giclees are a digital representation of an original work of art that is computer adapted for use on needlepoint canvas. These images are printed on premium canvas with pigment based dyes, using professional grade photo printers

Each pattern is generated to order so please allow up to four business days before shipment.

Our canvases are never folded.

Regular orders are wrapped in tissue, rolled in a cardboard tube, and shipped via USPS First Class Mail.

Large orders are wrapped in tissue, flat boxed, and shipped via USPS Priority Mail.

International Shipments are sent USPS First Class International at calculated Cost.
